Sucré is a dessert boutique that launched in New Orleans, Louisiana in April 2007.[1] A retailer of hand-made chocolates, pastries, gelato and other sweets, Sucré is located in the historic Garden District. Sucré is owned by New Orleans restaurateur, and former Emeril Lagasse sous chef, Joel Dondis. Dondis partnered up with pastry chef Tariq Hanna.

At the time of its opening, it was the first dessert-only restaurant in New Orleans. Unlike a traditional bakery, Sucre serves plated desserts with custom garnishes in addition to boxed sweets.[2]
