Summer Cummings (born March 4, 1968) is the
stage name of a prolific American pornographic film producer, director,
and performer, and exotic dancer. She has been performing in
the sexual
fetishism film market since 1990.
Biography
Cummings was born in Reno, Nevada, where she danced at a topless
bar after leaving high school. Cummings later began working
as a stripper in San Francisco, doing live sex shows at the Mitchell Brothers
O'Farrell Theatre. In San Francisco, she became interested in
fetish
pornography, spanking, and
BDSM.[1][2]
Cummings has been performing in fetish and BDSM films since her
first starring film "Take-out Torture", released by Dungeon Video
International in 1990.[3]
Cummings is also noted for her non-adult cameo appearance in Paul
Thomas Anderson's 1997 film, Boogie Nights which she appears with
her former adult stage partner Skye Blue.[1]
Cummings and Blue performed together for a number of years as
part of a large breast nude review called
"SkyeBlue".[4]
They formed an online partnership that reflected their two stage
names (www.summerskyes.com)[5]
and acted together in many adult films.[1]
They have since ceased their adult partnership, with both now
owning and operating their own pornographic companies. Skye Blue
kept the summerskyes.com Internet domain,
and owns and operates the Platinum Blue Productions film production
company,[6] while
Cummings's site is summerc.com.
