Sunnyside (formerly, Maltermoro)[2] is an unincorporated community in Fresno County, California.[1] It is located on the Southern Pacific Railroad 5 miles (8 km) north-northeast of Malaga,[2] at an elevation of 328 feet (100 m).[1]

The Maltermoro post office operated from 1894 to 1913.[2] The name honored postmaster George H. Malter.[2]
