Tarun Arora is an Indian male model turned actor in Bollywood films. He started his acting career with a cameo in the movie Pyaar Mein Kabhi Kabhi. After working in several low-budget movies, he received recognition for his role in the movie Jab We Met.

Arora was working as a hospitality manager at a five-star hotel in Bangalore when he developed an interest in modeling. He won the Gladrags Manhunt in 1998. After that, he was seen in advertisement campaigns for brands like Raymond, Westside, Kwality Walls, McDowell’s whiskey, and LG, and walking the runway for several designers.

Acting

Arora filmed his first Bollywood film role in 1999, a cameo in Pyaar Mein Kabhi Kabhi. He had his first major role in the movie Hawas, which did not perform well. During the next three years, he performed in movies like Sheen (2004), 19 Revolutions (2004), Men Not Allowed (2006), and Ghuttan(2007), but none of these movies managed to make any impact.

In 2007, he performed in the movie Jab We Met, in which he played the role of Kareena Kapoor's lover who ditches her and comes back, only to get ditched in return. The film was a major hit.

In 2009, he performed in two films: 2 and Love Guru', neither of which have been released yet.[1]
