Terri Minsky is an American television writer and producer who created Lizzie McGuire, Less Than Perfect, and The Geena Davis Show as well as writing several episodes of Sex and the City. Minsky is currently executive producer of "Sherri," the new Lifetime series starring Sherri Shepherd that debuted in October 2009.

Her first writing credit was for the series Doctor Doctor in 1989, and she also worked on Flying Blind in 1992. She grew up in Mt. Lebanon, Pennsylvania.[1]

A mother of two, Minsky published a reflection, "The Mother Load," on balancing time between her work and family in Literary Mama.

Prior to working in television, Minsky was a writer for the Wall Street Journal, the Boston Globe, the New York Daily News, Premiere, New York, and Esquire. [2]
