The Altar and the Door is the third studio album by American band Casting Crowns. The album was released on August 28, 2007. It includes two cover songs, including Chandler's "I Know You're There" and Steve Fee's "All Because of Jesus." The album debuted at number-two on the United States Billboard 200 chart, shipping 129,000 copies in its first week.[2] The album is currently certified gold by the RIAA after it has already sold more 500,000 copies.
