The Bridge is a Canadian police drama commissioned by CTV and CBS starring Aaron Douglas. The initial order is for 11 episodes. After CTV ordered the pilot to series in November 2008, CTV later shared the pilot with CBS.[1] This series premiered on CTV on March 5, 2010 and on CBS in the middle of the 2009-2010 season.[2][3]

The Bridge is about the struggle of street cops who battle criminals, as well as their own bosses.
The Bridge is produced by E1 Entertainment, 990 Multi Media Entertainment Company, and Jonsworth Productions. It was announced that principal photography began on April 24, 2009.[4] The Bridge was originally commissioned as a two-hour movie and a backdoor pilot by CTV.[5]
