The New Cities is a new urban, pop rock band originating from Trois-Rivières, Quebec, Canada. The current members of The New Cities are David Brown, Chris Bergeron, Nick Denis, Francis Fugere, Phil Lachance, and Julien Martre.

The band has currently released their first single called "Dead End Countdown" and their second "Leaders of the Misled" and the third and most recent "Hypertronic Superstar" off of their debut album Lost in City Lights. Dead End Countdown peaked at #16 on the Canadian Hot 100 in August 2009, While Hypertronic Superstar is a muchmusic hit. The album was released on May 5, 2009. The band has just finished touring the UK with Twenty Twenty in January, And is now on tour with Faber Drive and supporter Jesse Labelle for Mid-April to Mid-May.
