The Strokes are an American band formed in 1998. They became famous in the early 2000s as a leading group in the garage rock revival. After their first album Is This It in 2001, many critics called the group as the "saviors of rock."[1] NME made Is This It their Album of the Year. Since then, the band has kept many fans, especially in the US, UK and Australia.
