Thomas Brezina (born January 30, 1963 in Vienna), is an Austrian writer of children's books. He is especially known for his series The Knickerbocker Gang and his stories about the talking bike Tom Turbo. More than 400 of his books have been translated into 32 languages.
He is also host of several children's programmes on Austrian television.

In Knickerbocker Kids, 4 friends between 9 and 14 years of age solve mysteries of different types. Axel always wears a cap with an A on it; Dominic wears glasses; Lilo has long blonde hair; and Poppi is the youngest and loves animals. The series has also been produced for television.
In the Penny books, the main character, who obviously is Penny, grows up on a farm. In the first book of the series (What is a dog's life, after all), Penny saves a dog from being killed. The title 7 paws comes from her dogs; one has 4 white paws and one has 3.
He also wrote detective books such as A Mystery for You and The Tiger Team(known as 《冒险小虎队》 in Chinese), A Super Mystery for You and The Tiger Team(known as 《超级版冒险小虎队》 in Chinese) and PSSST! OUR SECRET(known as 《女生冒险小虎队》 in Chinese). These books had been translated into Chinese and widely sold.
The Tom Turbo stories are about the amazing talking bicycle with 111 amazing stunts. Together with his two friends, Caro and Claro, and his boss, Thomas Brezina, it solves mysteries. His main enemy is the evil wannabe superhero dressed in purple called Fritz Fantom.
Thomas Brezina lives in Vienna, on the Lake of Neusiedl (Burgenland) and in London. His pet is a West Highland White Terrier, named Daffi.
