Todd A. Eachus is a Democratic member of the Pennsylvania House of Representatives, representing the 116th District (Luzerne County) since 1997. Eachus represents most of southern Luzerne County, including Hazleton, Butler Township, and Foster Township. In 2008 he became Majority Leader of the House.[2]

Responding to the kids for cash scandal in his district in 2009, Eachus sponsored House Bill 1648[3] which established the Interbranch Commission on Juvenile Justice in July 2009. The commission consists of eleven members, appointed from each branch of government in Pennsylvania, with four members chosen by the judicial branch, four by the legislature and three by the governor.[4]

He has been a "key driving force" in shepherding Ed Rendell's healthcare agenda through the Pennsylvania House of Representatives.[5]
