Tollywood may refer to either of the following two Indian film industries:

  • Cinema of Andhra Pradesh, the Telugu-language film industry based in the state of Andhra Pradesh
  • Bengali-language film industry based in Tollygunge of South Kolkata in the state of West Bengal

Telugu Cinema (Telugu: తెలుగు సినీపరిశ్రమ), refers to the cinema in Telugu language, sometimes referred as Tollywood, a portmanteau of "Telugu" and "Hollywood".

Tollywood ( Bengali:টলিউড ) refers to the Kolkata (Calcutta) based Bengali film industry in the Republic Of India: see also Dhallywood. The origins of that name, Tollywood a portmanteau of the words Tollygunge and Hollywood are disputed.
