Travis Howard Phelps (born July 25, 1977, in Rocky Comfort, Missouri) is a Major League Baseball pitcher for the Detroit Tigers organization. He has played in Major League Baseball from 2001-2004 for the Tampa Bay Devil Rays and Milwaukee Brewers.
In 2008, Phelps played for the York Revolution in the independent Atlantic League. In 32 games, he went 3-3 with a 3.82 ERA and 49 strikeouts.
On January 6, 2009, Phelps signed a minor league contract with the Detroit Tigers.[1] However, he was released by the Tigers at the end of spring training and resigned with the Revolution.
