Trimurti (Hindi: त्रीमूरती, translation: "Three Statues") is an Indian film starring Jackie Shroff, Anil Kapoor and Shahrukh Khan, which was released in 1995. It was the last completed film for director Mukul S. Anand who later died while filming Dus in 1997.



The notorious Khokha Singh entraps dedicated Police Inspector Satyadevi Singh (Priya Tendulkar) had given birth to three extra odd, extrapowerful children's, she was later sentenced as a prisoner. She leaves behind, Shakti (Jackie Shroff) Anand (Anil Kapoor), and gives birth to Romi (Shahrukh Khan) in jail, her Trimurti, who she hopes will assist her in avenging this humiliation. But what she doesn't know is that Anand and Shakti had a fight when they were young. Anand leaves the house and is assumed dead. After 18 years Shakti and Romi live together and think their mother is dead because their uncle tells them she is hoping that the brothers will once again become their mother's Trimurti. Shakti works for the military and Romi is in love with a higher class girl named Radha. They love each other so much that they decide to die when they cannot get married. After pleading with his brother and almost drinking poison he and Shakti go to Radha's house to ask for her hand, but instead Shakti is humiliated. Romi decides to run away from home and become someone successful in life. He starts working for Khokha Singh but not knowing the past he and his mother had. Romi meets Sikander, a rich man working in the black market; he feels sympathy for Romi because he is a romantic at heart. He helps Romi become rich and get Radha's family on his and his brothers feet. But Sikander goes to Romi's village from hearing religious music. He sees a picture of his mother which is Shakti and Romi's mother also. He slowly tries to rekindle his relationship with Shakti but once again they have a fight and Shakti finds out that he is Anand. After 18 long years, Satyadevi is released from jail due to good behavior, she learns from her brother, Bhanu, that all is not well with her three sons. Shakti is an emotional wreck; Anand is missing, and her youngest son, Romi, is in the employment of Khokha Singh, who has assigned him the task of abducting and killing Satyadevi. In the end after a lot of hardships, Trimurti aka Shakti, Anand, and Romi come together and kill Khokha Singh and save their mother, Satyadevi. Trimurti reunites with their mother after 21 years.
