Plot

Teen actress Morgan Carter (Joanna "JoJo" Levesque) is a Hollywood princess, until the day that her hard-partying ways get the best of her. After she collapses outside a Hollywood nightclub, Morgan's mother (Lynda Boyd) sends her to live incognito in the wilds of Fort Wayne, Indiana, with her Aunt Trudy (Valerie Bertinelli) after a stint in rehab. All it takes to camouflage this fictional starlet is a new 'do' and name, Claudia—and voila! Morgan blends right in with the other kids, who apparently don't own TVs or read magazines.

With a new look and a seriously depleted budget, Morgan enters a suburban high school with a new identity and a bad attitude. At first she didn't fit in with anyone, until a cute guy Eli and her become friends. Eli introuduces Claudia(Morgan)to his sister and her friends. Emily, Eli's sister is so sweet and they become fast friends. Emily invites Claudia (Morgan) to a sleepover where Debbie who likes Eli, tells her to stay away from Eli. Which makes Claudia (Morgan) upset so she goes home early without telling Emily. When she goes home she slips back to her old ways and drinks the bottle of vodka, that she found in the cupboard. The next day Eli comes over to tutor Claudia (Morgan) and she makes up this story about her father and Eli says if he comes around her to tell him. Eli asks Claudia (Morgan) on a date to the fair and she accepts. Morgan's best friend Marissa comes to visit her in Fort Wayne, Indiana. They go to a club and Morgan discovers that a girl dancing drunk on the bar isn't so fun when your sober. Claudia goes to the fair with Eli and they kiss. Claudia falls for him. Everything was finally going great until Debbie blackmails Morgan. The paparazzi finds out where she is. Eli gets mad. But in the end they drive away on his motorcycle.
