True Crime is a series of action games set from the perspective of law enforcement. The series is known for its GPS-accurate open world recreations of cities such as Los Angeles, New York City and Hong Kong and "street crime" missions that randomly generate outside of the main police procedural storyline for players to engage in if they so choose.

The first two games were developed by Luxoflux. A third game was under development by Luxoflux but then canceled after the lackluster release of True Crime: New York City.[1] A new entry is being developed by United Front Games.[2] The series is published by Activision.

  • True Crime: Streets of LA, released in 2003.
  • True Crime: New York City, released in 2005.
