Union is located in the Kitsap Peninsula region of Washington state.

Union is a picturesque community on the south shore of Hood Canal, actually a fjord and not a canal at all. Views take in the beautiful Olympic Mountains.

By car

Union is a winding 16 miles west of Belfair (Washington) on Highway 106.

• The Traveler - This 'have-to-be-in-the-know' sight it located on the face of Mt. Washington, best seen from Union, on the South shore of Hood Canal. This 'traveler' takes up most of the face of the mountain. It looks like a person walking in a heavy parka, some people see him walking up with a shoulder high walking stick out away from the body in the left hand, some people see him coming down with the walking stick in the right hand....a must see in the early snow or the late snow season (partial snow on the mountain).
