The Senate Armed Services Subcommittee on Sea Power is one of six subcommittees within the Senate Armed Services Committee.



The Seapower Subcommittee has jurisdication over all U.S. Navy, U.S. Marine Corps, including non-tactical air programs, and the Naval Reserve forces.

Members, 111th Congress

The subcommittee chair is Democrat Jack Reed of Rhode Island, following the death of Ted Kennedy of Massachusetts. The Ranking Minority Member position is Roger Wicker of Mississippi, after Mel Martinez of Florida resigned.
