The 2002 Montana Election for the United States Senate was held on November 4, 2002. Montana generally gives its presidential electors to Republican candidates, but historically has elected several prominent Democrats to the United States Senate. Popular incumbent U.S. Senator Max Baucus won re-election with 62.7% of the vote.[1]
