The 2002 New Mexico United States Senate election was held on November 5, 2002 to select the U.S. Senator from the state of New Mexico. Long-time Senator Pete Domenici sought re-election. Domenici defeated the Democratic challenger Gloria Tristani, former Commissioner on the Federal Communications Commission in the general election.
