Victorious is the next upcoming television program from Nickelodeon, starring Victoria Justice and created by Dan Schneider.

The show will revolve around Justice's character Tori, an aspiring singer who attends a performing arts high school while getting into wacky screwball situations on a daily basis.

Contents

Plot

Tori Vega (Victoria Justice) is a teen who unexpectedly finds herself navigating life at an elite performing arts high school. After her sister Trina (Daniella Monet) has a medical mishap on the night of the school’s annual talent showcase, Tori steps in to perform Trina’s song. Accompanied on the piano by her musically-gifted friend André (Leon Thomas), Tori’s singing and dancing impress the school’s principal so much that she offers her the opportunity of a lifetime – an invitation to become a student at Hollywood Arts High School.

From her first day at the school, Tori feels out of place among the amazingly talented students, especially mean diva Jade (Elizabeth Gillies). With the help of Trina, André and her new friends – brooding bad boy Beck (Avan Jogia), eccentric Cat (Ariana Grande) and lovable but psychologically scrambled ventriloquist Robbie (Matt Bennett) – Tori realizes that she was born to perform and that entertaining people not only makes her happy but may change her life.

Cast

Production

The series is concurrently produced with iCarly also created by Dan Schneider. It is produced by Schneider's Bakery and Nickelodeon Productions.

It will be the third time Victoria Justice has worked with Schneider, after both Zoey 101 and the iCarly episode "iFight Shelby Marx", in which Justice played titular character. It is also the second time Schneider has worked with Leon Thomas, after Thomas previously appeared as Harper in the iCarly episode, "iCarly Saves TV". Also, Daniella Monet, who previously guest-starred on 2 episodes of Zoey 101 as Chase's girlfriend, Rebecca, will be working with Justice and Schneider a second time, and is the second time that Avan Jogia will be working with Justice.

The series also reunites actresses Elizabeth Gillies and Ariana Grande, who previously appeared together in 13.
