Vikas Kohli is a Canadian musician and producer best known for founding Fatlabs a recording studio in Mississauga, Ontario, Canada. He is best known for his ability to work with multiple genres. Vikas has produced punk, jazz, hip-hop, soul, country, pop, R&B, classical, metal, rock and bhangra albums.
Vikas made it big when Bollywood star Mika Singh wanted to take his popular bhangra style in a new direction.[1] Vikas is known for adding a North American Rock element to Mika's bhangra while still keeping the music pure for an Indian audience.
Vikas also produced and arranged the title track for Apoorva Lakhia's Bollywood film "Mission Istanbul" starring Sunil Shetty, Vivek Oberoi, Shwaita and Zayed Khan.[2][3]
Vikas Kohli went to the University of Toronto Mississauga, Ontario, Canada and received an honours degree in Mathematics and Philosophy. He received his MBA (masters of business and information from Schulich School of Business and his CFA.
