Vosges is a United States-based luxury chocolate maker that offers exotic varieties flavored with spices, bacon, and other ingredients. It is owned by Katrina Markoff.[1]

Unique qualities

Chicago-based Vosges Chocolates, Inc. are home to unique flavor combinations, many of which by inspired by the travels of the chocolatier owner, Katrina Markoff such as the Red Fire Bar made with Mexican chili powder, cinnamon and dark chocolate, the Black Pearl Bar made with ginger, black sesame seeds and dark chocolate and the "ill-advised" Mo's Bacon Bar., a bacon-flavoured chocolate bar.[2]

The company features seven different chocolate bars at their Chicago, New York and Las Vegas boutiques.[3]

Critical praise

Vosges offers flavors including Red Fire Toffee, Red Fire Tortilla Chips, Red Fire Candy Bar, and an Oaxaca Candy Bar that have been praised as being "beautifully presented and made from the finest cacao and spices in the world".[4] Huffington Post's reviewers also gave the chocolates high marks noting the unusual offerings such as Wild Tuscan Fennel Pollen with Floral Anise and Ginger plus Fresh Wasabi with Black Sesame Seeds.[5]
