WCHK AM 1290 is a radio station broadcasting a Spanish format, also simulcast on WLKQ-FM 102.3 and WNSY FM 100.1. Licensed to serve Canton, Georgia, its broadcast callsign stands for Cherokee, the county of which Canton is the seat of government, largest city, and geographic center. The station is currently owned by Davis Broadcasting of Atlanta, L.L.C.

Prior to the acquisition by Davis Broadcasting in January, 2007, it was owned by McClure Broadcasting. It featured classic country music and local programming. After the acquisition, WCHK was silent for several months.

As of July 2009, the station has a construction permit to increase its daytime power to 10,000 watts from 5,000, using the same single radiating tower. It will continue to use three towers to transmit the same 500 watts at night.

The station's original FM simulcast, WCHK-FM 105.5, is now WWVA-FM 105.7. (Originally owned by McClure, it now belongs to Clear Channel.) A second WCHK-FM is now WNSY FM 100.1.
