WGFS (1430 AM, is a radio station broadcasting an Multicultural format. Licensed to the suburb of Covington, Georgia, it serves the Atlanta metropolitan area. The station is currently owned by Multicultural Radio Broadcasting,INC. The station currently broadcasts at a frequency of 1430 kHz with 3,900 watts of power during the daytime, and 212 watts at night using a non-directional antenna pattern. The radio station is considered a Class B AM station by the Federal Communications Commission.

WGFS has applied to the Federal Communications Commission to change its operating frequency from 1430 kHz to 1220 kHz. The application also calls for a decrease in its daytime power to 1,600 watts, and increase its nighttime power to 500 watts. The daytime and nighttime signal patterns will change to two different directional antenna patterns. This change will allow sister station WATB (AM) located in Decatur, Georgia to move from its present 1420 kHz operating frequency to 1430 kHz vacated by WGFS. The move of WATB (AM) to 1430 kHz will allow it to substantially increase its daytime power to 50,000 watts.

WGFS Radio is now under new management. As a result of the continuous migration of individuals from the Caribbean, Mexico and other multicultural countries the demand for news, music and entertainment is heavily needed, and we are a full time source providing this information.
