Notable On Air Personalities include, Rick Rock and Bill Culp, both of whome have been inducted into the Avenue of the Stars in Wilwood New Jersey, which honors entertainers past and present. They join some 70 others including Chubby Checker, Frankie Avalon, The Ronnettes, The Rascals and more. WILW is The Official Oldies Radio Station of Wildwood By The Sea New Jersey and also the Worldwide Voice Of Doo Wop for The Doo Wop Presrvation League of Wildwood New Jersey.

History

The station went on the air as WXNJ on 1992-03-27. on 1993-02-03, the station changed its call sign to WWOC, on 2001-03-02 to WWZK, on 2005-02-17 to the current WILW,[2], to the current WIBG-FM on 8/19/2009.
