History

The station went on the air as WJIV in 1950, the station changed its call sign to WEAS in 1960 then changed call sign again to WWJD on 1983-10-24. on 1987-06-28, the station changed its call sign to the former WEAS, on 1998-10-26 to the current WJLG,[2]
