WZZO, popularly known as Z-95, is a popular hard rock radio station located in Whitehall Township, outside of Allentown, in the Lehigh Valley region of Pennsylvania, in the United States.

WZZO broadcasts locally at 95.1 MHz FM. The station's tag line is: "The Valley's Rock Station."

The station's broadcast is also available globally through online streaming at: WZZO live stream broadcast.

WZZO regularly sponsors live music and nightclub events in the Lehigh Valley and Philadelphia areas.[1].

The station is owned by Clear Channel Communications, a media conglomerate.

History

Before moving to Whitehall Township, Pennsylvania, the WZZO broadcast studios were located in the Westgate Mall in Bethlehem, Pennsylvania.

Competition

WZZO's primary rock station competitors include Philadelphia rock stations WMMR and WYSP, Belvidere, New Jersey-based rock music station WWYY ("107 The Bone") in the Lehigh Valley and WRFY-FM, a Reading, Pennsylvania-based rock station.
