Warren Batchelder (April 18, 1917 - February 12, 2007) was an animator on many Warner Bros. and DePatie-Freleng cartoons. He also worked as animation director on the Dungeons and Dragons cartoon show. He began his animation career in 1936[1] and later went to work at Disney as an animator on Donald Duck cartoons. In 1941, he left during the animators' strike and went to Screen Gems. He stayed there for over ten years. In 1954, Warren left Screen Gems/UPA and went to Warner Bros. There, he animated in Robert McKimson's unit and became a master animator (eligible for on-screen credit) in 1958. In 1987 he received the Animation Guild Golden Award, and he retired in 2002.[2]
