CBBC presenting work

On 3 September 2007, he became half of the 'Ed and Oucho' presenter duo for CBBC. Ed Petrie and Oucho the talking Cactus presented afternoon links for the CBBC Channel on weekdays, from 15:25 to 19:00. They finished their live presenting duties on 17 April 2009, in preparation for their new weekend show.On the 1st December 2009, Ed and Oucho returned to the cbbc office to do the live weekday afternoon links.

2010 onwards

Warrick Brownlow-Pike has currently temporary left CBBC to film his own Puppet show suspected to air on BBC Three later this year. Chris Johnson a new CBBC presenter has been replacing Oucho since January 2010. It is unknown when Warrick will return to play Oucho , although he has filmed some short links with Oucho to be transmitted during CBBC presentation whilst he's away. One of many was shown on the CBBC channel with Oucho in his new office printing lots of photocopied words saying Ed is a flunk (Fool).

CBBC shows

Ed and Oucho's first CBBC programme, Ed and Oucho's Excellent Inventions started on 5 January 2009 at 4:30pm on the CBBC Channel. A second series of the show is to be filmed in Summer 2009 and will première at the beginning of 2010.

Ed and Oucho had their own Weekend show from 16th May - 9th August 2009 called 'Transmission Impossible with Ed and Oucho' where they flew a blimp , taking over Weekend Transmission on BBC 2 and the CBBC channel. It ended on Sunday 9th August 2009 so they could start filming Series 2 of Excellent Inventions.

Oucho

Oucho T. Cactus is Ed Petrie's puppet companion, operated and voiced by Warrick Brownlow-Pike. Oucho speaks in the language "Cactinian" and his favourite food is bananas. He fears dogs,lawnmowers, water, Basil Brush and Anne Robinson. He has an unashamed love of Dolly Parton Oucho often dresses up in a blonde wig and mimes to her music. Oucho says he's from Bracknell.
