William C. Malley was the an American football player and coach. A native of Chicago, Illinois, Malley played tackle and guard for the University of Michigan Wolverines football teams from 1888 to 1890. He was the captain of the 1890 team that finished with a 4-1 record.[1] In 1892, he became the head college football coach for the Wabash College Little Giants located in Crawfordsville, Indiana. Malley held that position for only one season and had a career coaching record at Wabash was 1 wins, 4 losses, and 0 ties.[2] Malley returned to the University of Michigan as an assistant football coach for the 1897 and 1898 Michigan Wolverines football teams.[3][4]
