Wrong Turn 3: Left for Dead is a 2009 horror film, directed by Declan O'Brien, and starring Janet Montgomery, Tamer Hassan and Chucky Venice. It is the third film of the Wrong Turn series.

College student Alex and her friends go to the woods on a rafting trip. Soon after, her friends are killed by the mutant cannibal "Three Finger", who survived from the previous films. She is left to fend for herself, but not for long.[2] Two days later a group of prisoners are being transferred by Nate Wilson, a prison guard, on his last day before leaving to become a lawyer. During transport their bus is attacked by Three Finger and the prisoners escape.[3] While being chased through the woods, the prisoners and Nate encounter Alex and an abandoned armored van filled with money. The money becomes the prisoners sole motivation for escape and survival. However, one-by-one Three Finger hunts and murders everyone except Nate, Alex and Brandon and is finally killed when Nate stabs him in the head with his own meat hook. An unknown amount of time later Nate returns to take the money that was left behind in the truck (the rest having been burned by Three Finger earlier). But Suddenly Brandon, who is the convict, killed Nate with an arrow straight through his chest and said to him "You should never trust a convict". But then a strange human being kills Brandon as well. (Some people thought that the human being was Alex.) [4]

Although it was a commercial success, the reaction to this film was mainly mixed. This film received an 18% fresh from the Rotten Tomatoes community. Bloody Disgusting said "If WT2 raised the bar, then WT3 lowers it right back down to where it was, and possibly a notch or two lower."
