Xchanging plc (LSE: XCH) is an international company providing business processing outsourcing services to global blue chip customers. It is listed on the London Stock Exchange and is a constituent of the FTSE 250 Index.

History

The Company was founded by David Andrews, a former partner in Andersen Consulting, in 1999.[1] It was first listed on the London Stock Exchange in 2007.[1] Xchanging entered the FTSE 250 Index in 2007.[2]

In October 2008 Xchanging announced that they had agreed to acquire 75% of share capital of Cambridge Solutions, a business process outsourcing company based in India for approximately £83m.[3]

Operations

The Company provides Human resource, procurement, accounting and Information Technology processing for customers in various industries.[4]

University Boat Race

The Company have been the sponsors of the Oxford and Cambridge University Boat Race since 2005 and are signed on until 2012.[5] In November 2009 Xchanging became title sponsor of the event, so the 156th Race in April 2010 will be known as The Xchanging Boat Race.[6][7]
