From Wikipedia, the free encyclopedia

Yakutsk Time (Russian: Якутское времяYakutskoye vremya) or YAKT, is a time zone in Russia, named after Yakutsk, the capital of Sakha. It is 9 hours ahead of UTC (UTC+9) and 6 hours ahead of Moscow Time (MSK+6).

Yakutsk Summer Time (YAKST) corresponds to UTC+10, but is still 6 hours ahead of Moscow (MSD+6).

Most of Russia, including the Yakutsk Time Zone, uses decree time, which means it lies one hour ahead of standard time for the corresponding time zone.
