Yaniv Green (Hebrew: יַנִיב גְּרִין‎, born May 16, 1980 in Herzliya, Israel) is an Israeli professional basketball player. Green is a 2.06 m (6 ft 9 in) tall forward-center. He currently plays with the pro club Maccabi Tel Aviv, and also for the Israeli national basketball team.

Yaniv was a main factor in the surprising second-place finish of the U-20 Israeli national team at the 2000 FIBA Europe Under-20 Championship. He was also a part of the team that played at the FIBA Under-21 World Championship and finished in 7th place.

When Maccabi Tel Aviv beat the Toronto Raptors 105-103 in October 2005, beating an NBA team for the first time in 27 years, Green said: ""This is history. They are still talking about [Maccabi's win over the Bullets] and I'm sure 20 years from now, they will still be talking about this one."[1]

While playing for the senior men's Israeli national basketball team, Green was the leading rebounder at the 2007 European Championship, averaging 9.3 rebounds per game.[2]
