Yannick Tremblay (born November 15, 1975 in Pointe-aux-Trembles, Ile de Montreal, Quebec) is a retired professional hockey player. Tremblay is a retired defenceman who played his last season for HC Lugano of National League A in Switzerland. He was born in Pointe-aux-Trembles and is listed at 6'2", 200 lb.
Tremblay was drafted 145th overall by the Toronto Maple Leafs in the 1995 NHL Entry Draft and spent the best of three seasons with the team, spliting his time with Toronto and in the American Hockey League for the St. John's Maple Leafs. In 1999, he was claimed by the Atlanta Thrashers in the 1999 NHL Expansion Draft and spent five seasons with the team. His best season came in 2002–03 where he score 8 goals and 22 assists for 30 points in 75 games. The 2004–05 NHL season was locked out and Tremblay played in Germany's Deutsche Eishockey Liga for Adler Mannheim, eventually staying for a second season. He was then acquired by the Vancouver Canucks, but only managed to play 12 games as he spent most of the season in the AHL with the Manitoba Moose.
Tremblay signed for Swiss side Lugano in 2007. He played for Team Canada at the 2007 Spengler Cup.
